American Tae Kwon Do Association
The ATA was a dream of a young man in Korea. The late Grand Master H.U. Lee headed for the United States not knowing if he would ever see his family again to bring the art of Taekwondo to the USA. He started the ATA (American Taekwondo Association) in 1969. As the organization grew he started having ATA schools all over the country. He developed the Songahm which he presented to his fellow instructors in June 1990. The ATA now has over 1,500 license school and over 300,000 members.

Visions ATA Black Belt Academy and Karate for Kids had its first class in March of 2001. Since our very humble beginnings in the Pigeon Forge Community Center we have grown leaps and bounds into our current location on Dolly Parton Parkway in Sevierville. We are proud to say that we have had two TN state champs and many more to come. The name “Visions” comes from the adjective Vision, which describes the late Grand Master H. U. Lee. Eternal Grand Master H. U. Lee was a great visionary, who developed and started the American Taekwondo Association in 1969. We moved to Fit Factory June 2011, to provide out students with other training options in addition to their Taekwondo but yet we maintain out training excellence. Our classes are done completely separate from any other program at Fit Factory. |
